In the rankings for innovation and competitiveness, our Federal Republic regularly receives top places, but we are far behind the world leaders in terms of digitisation.
All the more festive was the 20.10.2020: the day on which our pema elektrotechnik gmbh was the first company in the Gigabit Region Stuttgart to be connected to the fibre optic network of Deutsche Telekom.
Together with representatives from politics, local authorities, special purpose association, business development and Telekom we pressed the start button for the future on our company premises. We have finally created an important basis for a further expansion of digitalisation, which is particularly important for the cooperation with our subsidiary in Romania. Now nothing stands in the way of our further expansion plans.
Our employees are also delighted to be able to work from home with stable access to the company network, with or without a Corona pandemic.
We would especially like to thank our mayor Matthias Ruckh for being one of the first to respond to the talks with the Gigabit Region Stuttgart. Politicians can gladly take him as a role model: Experience on the subject of digitisation has taught us that politics must be quicker on such promising topics, because technical development is guaranteed not to slow down.
